EYES ON THE RED CARPET

Okay so I'm not always into award shows, but when it comes to the red carpet portion I am totally tuned in. This year's EMMY Awards red carpet was quite fun to watch the various gowns, suits, the color palettes & designs that these celebrities decided to wear were quite interesting.

Here are my top picks!

1. Did you guys see Emma Roberts rock her gown?! She looked effortlessly beautiful. I think that the first thing that came to mind when I saw her gown was that somehow she truly made that shade of pink work. I don't mean this in a bad way but those tones are very hard to pull off when your skin tone is so fair. Her makeup was definitely helpful as well as the accessories and even letting her hair down so it could create contrast with her full ensemble. She truly rocked it whoever helped style her did an awesome job!

2. Nancy O'dell looked so vibrant in the gown she helped design. I think that being able to say that also helped her shine on the carpet, she looked comfortable, proud, and simply gorgeous. The one shoulder design truly complimented her figure. Making the accents & shoes to her dress gold really made the color crisp clear even in front of the FOX/EMMY backdrop.

3. Okay my third pick of the night was Christine Marzano because if you're going to show skin at the EMMY's you have to do it with some class and she truly did it well. The design is so abstract with geometric shapes but she pulled it off. It wasn't only fun and chic, it truly complimented her figure and the color really made her eyes pop.

4. Of course I couldn't leave Sarah Hyland out, she may be on the top list of many for the dress she wore on the red carpet. The color is amazing, it goes very well with her skin tone as well as being a fall tone fits perfectly with the latest fashion trends. The off the shoulder look is simply elegant. I think that one of the key parts of the dress was the stitching, if you got to see close-ups of her gown you can see that the stitching was made with really making her curves the center of attention, outlining her figure in this way was a key player in making her look standout.
