BEAUTY & SELF CARE ESSENTIALS

From beauty to some much needed self care essentials, here are a few of my AVEDA go to products.

Hand Relief is the one lotion I carry wherever I go and keep handy while I'm at home. Along with the fact that Minnesota weather can be unpredictable, and winter here can really do a number on you if you don't take care of your skin. My hands get incredibly dry so this is a life saver, you notice a difference instantly.

Stress Fix Composition Oil has become one of the greatest additions to my self care routine. Whatever it may be that causes you stress or you just need some pampering, this oil is here to help give you a little comfort and zen when you're at home or on the go. This is one of the many products in AVEDA's Stress Fix line which more so serve as aromatic therapy. I love using the oil in baths, after a shower. I also dab some on my wrists or mix it in with my regular body lotion so that scent helps soothe whatever mood I'm in by taking it in with some deep breaths and allowing it to do its magic. I'll even use this when it's hard for me to go to sleep.

Shampure Dry Shampoo has been in my haircare product shelf for months but I haven't used it as often as the last couple of weeks. Since I've started to take my workout routines more seriously, I realized I needed something to help me look more presentable after a workout in case I have errands to run or have somewhere to go before I make it home to shower. With the winter my scalp also acts up, and can get very oily so the dry shampoo has been very effective in helping me with that as well.

Dry Remedy Daily Moisturizing Oil is for anyone who wants a little moisture and repair. After years of constantly using hot tools on my hair the word damaged was honestly an understatement. Within weeks of using this product my hair felt much more manageable, my curls kept their shape longer, and the frizz diminished. The best part is that I can re-apply when I need it throughout my day without worrying that my hair will look oily, unwashed, or weighed down.
