It's cooled down quite a bit here in MN we were in the 60's the last couple of days which means sweater weather is pretty much here, so excited for that! I've been looking around for some fun finds specially for fashion week. Unfortunately I won't be attending the one in New York, I can't wait to say that I will someday but for now I'm happy with being able to say that I'll be attending some of the shows for the MN fashion week here from September 20th-26th. If you guys have not heard any details click here to get your tickets for the shows!
For the moodboard this week i took inspiration from some of the items I've picked out to wear to the shows. It's all about the fall tones, leather, black (you can't ever go wrong with this color) and comfort. Most of these items are under $70 except for the ECCO clutch which varies by store I believe and some of the colors for the STEVE MADDEN booties which are slightly more expensive but below I have the link for the ones that are currently on sale for you guys. I picked the mustard colored sweater because it's actually one of my favorite colors for the fall besides the dark olive tones & maroons. I'll be honest I'm one of those people who dislikes the color yellow, I don't think I own any tops or bottoms that are straight up yellow but when it comes to this mustard tone then you've got me hooked, I don't know what it is about it but it's very flattering for a wide variety of skin tones as well as matching with other pieces. Despite it being a versatile color, I prefer to pair it with black to really make it pop. The same can be done with maroon and olive tones, they're striking colors all on their own so it doesn't take much to make them work in an outfit. The leather accents on the leggings are just simply fun, and the shoes I picked are more of a neutral color so there's overall balance to the outfit. I actually own these booties and they're extremely comfortable so I definitely recommend them.
