The weekend trip to the North Shore with my family was an awesome adventure. The view from our resort was breath taking, definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area, we stayed at Superior Shores Resort. It was literally in be perfect spot. They were very nice & our suite was technically cheaper than staying at a hotel in the city for the weekend with more of a cabin-like feel. We were a good half hour from the city of Duluth, and about the same distance from Split Rock.

We did stop by the city, shopped around a bit and had some good food at Grandma's I think that's a given that you have to go there at least once when you visit Duluth. We also visited Split Rock Lighthouse for a bit since we missed out on the Glensheen Mansion tours but that place is a historic gem so definitely keep it in mind if you're in the area.

Food wise the other places that truly stood out were Vanilla Bean & of course Betty's Pies. My favorite pies are the raspberry rhubarb & blackberry peach. They're so addicting! When you're in Duluth it's truly about a relaxing getaway, with quite a few historic sites (that are worth visiting) as well as amazing natural surroundings that just take your breath away.

Do you guys know of any other places to visit while in the North Shore? If so please do share below.
